  1. I have been to a couple of places in New Mexico, but I have never been as far north as Farmington. I have always liked both New Mexico and Arizona. They both have some really naturally beautiful scenic landscapes!

  2. This guide was really useful and well organized (beautiful pictures too). I have never been to Farmington myself but maybe one day, who knows 🙂

    1. Thank you so much! if you are ever taking a road trip from the East to Arizona or further West, Farmington is a great stop in the Four Corners region (and the hotels are fairly cheap).

  3. Wow that’s such a tiny population! I’d never heard of this place but am interested in finding out more. like that you included the accommodation prices.

  4. This place is just way too cute ! I’m glad there aren’t big hotels there because they’re always so crowded and noisy ! It feels good to be somewhere like this for a while ! I love all the red chairs haah

  5. I love looking at this place. It is so cute! I like how you told us what we could do while we are there! I think sometimes I go to a place and then I miss out on all the good stuff!

  6. I love how you included the addresses and pricing info. It makes this post very informative makes searching for accommodations much easier.

  7. Great review of Farmington! I’d love to go experience this, looks amazing, thanks : )

  8. Wherever I go, I try to find that one unique place to visit – it looks like Artifacts Gallery might be the one for this city. Would love to get one of those artwork or see artists at their craft. They amaze me 🙂

    1. Yes! It was quite amazing to watch the artists in action! If you ever plan on buying a work from the Artifacts Gallery within the former hardware store, there is a “starving artist” bin where you can purchase astoundingly beautiful works by locals but for a much, much more affordable price than some other gallery items. 🙂

  9. Don’t forget about the rafting. Desert Rive Guides just opened this past summer (2021) and they offer one-hour and two-hour rafting trips. The whole family will enjoy getting on the river…and don’t worry about hitting lots of rapids, it’s fairly smooth with a little paddling.

    1. That sounds absolutely amazing! Thank you so much for commenting this suggestion (I’ll leave a link to the company so others can access it too). I will have to check it out Desert Rivers Guide when I’m back in New Mexico. This honestly sounds amazing (and I love the idea of smooth waters) xx – Anshula 😊
